An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-900, registration N247AK performing flight AS-413 from Chicago O'Hare,IL to Portland,OR (USA), departed Chicago's runway 09R but burst the left inboard main tyre on departure. The crew consulted with maintenance and dispatch and continued the flight to Portland, where emergency services were requested on standby. The aircraft landed safely on Portland's runway 10R about 4 hours later and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Portland about 43 hours after landing.
