A Qatar Airways Airbus A330-300, registration A7-AEO performing flight QR-289 from Doha (Qatar) to Prague (Czech Republic), landed on Prague's runway 12 and slowed, but was unable to vacate the runway due to a green hydraulic leak. The aircraft was towed off the runway about 30 minutes after landing.

The airport reported the runway was closed for about one hour following a liquid leak from the aircraft, that required cleaning of the runway.

The return flight QR-290 was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Prague about 13.5 hours after landing.

Czechia's UZPLN reported maintenance found a crack in the so called pitch trimmer manifold of the left main gear strut causing a hydraulic leak disabling one hydraulic system, which adjusts the angle of the landing gear wheels during takeoff and landing as well as during retraction and extension. The cracked part was replaced.
