The airline confirmed the captain, 28 years with Alaska Airlines, lost consciousness somewhere over Oregon, was attended by a doctor on board and after regaining consciousness some time later left the cockpit. He was taken to a hospital.
The aircraft, flown by a replacement crew, reached Seattle with a delay of 4 hours.
