The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED SEVERE TURBULENCE INJURYING FLIGHT ATTENDANTS AND PASSENGERS, NEWARK, NJ." and stated three flight attendants and thirteen passengers received minor injuries.
