The aircraft was towed off the runway about 20 minutes after landing. No landings at Zurich were possible for that period of time, takeoffs continued on runways 28 and 32.
Gossip indicates, that the nose gear steering mechanism literally froze up preventing nose wheel steering. After thawing the nose gear steering became responsive again and the aircraft was able to depart for the return flight SQ-345 on time (about 3.5 hours after landing).
The airline confirmed a technical issue prevented the aircraft to vacate the runway.
