A Skywest Embraer ERJ-175, registration N276SY performing flight DL-3880 from Helena,MT to Salt Lake City,UT (USA), was on approach to Salt Lake City's runway 16L when a bird impacted the aircraft causing damage to a pitot probe and the aircraft's nose. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.

The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BIRD DAMAGING THE NOSE AND THE PITOT TUBE, SALT LAKE CITY, UT."

The aircraft is still on the ground in Salt Lake City about 20 hours after landing.
