A Brussels Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration OO-SND performing flight SN-3256 from Heraklion (Greece) to Brussels (Belgium), was enroute at FL340 about 50nm west of Athens (Greece) when the crew initiated a descent to FL200 due to problems with the cabin pressure. After about 5 minutes at FL200 the crew climbed the aircraft to FL260. Another about 90 minutes later, now about 40nm east of Innsbruck (Austria) the crew decided to divert to Munich (Germany) due to problems with the cabin pressure again and landed safely on Munich's runway 26L about 2.5 hours after departure from Heraklion.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Munich for about 7.5 hours, then positioned to Brussels climbing to a maximum FL100.

According to information The Aviation Herald received the aircraft had been dispatched under minimum equipment list requirements with one pack inoperative, during the flight the second pack also developed issues.
