Anb Air Algerie Airbus A330-200, registration 7T-VJY performing test flights AH-7000 from Algiers to Algiers (Algeria), was performing test circuits to test the newly renovated Algier's runway 09/27. After performing 4 touch and go ciruits to both runways the aircraft landed full stop on runway on runway 09, lined up runway 27 and performed a rejected takeoff at high speed about 4 minutes after touch down, taxied into position for takeoff from runway 09, rejected takeoff at low speed (about 70 knots over ground) about 6 minutes after rejecting the first takeoff, taxied into position for another takeoff from runway 27 and rejected again at high speed (about 100 knots over ground) about 5 minutes after the second rejected takeoff. During those tests tower informed the crew about seeing sparks and flames from the right hand landing gear.
