A Horizon Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of Alaska Airlines, registration N430QX performing flight QX-140/AS-2140 from Seattle,WA to Boise,ID (USA), was enroute at FL230 when the aircraft encountered turbulence. On approach to Boise the crew requested medical assistance upon arrival reporting someone on board, possibly their flight attendant, had sprained her arm in a pocket of turbulence encountered enroute. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 10L.

The FAA reported a flight attendant was injured during an encounter with turbulence (editorial note: the report identifies flight number HZ140 and uses Idoaho local time MST instead of usual UTC).
