A LANCO LATAM Cargo Boeing 767-300, registration N534LA performing flight L7-2811 from Miami,FL (USA) to Medellin (Colombia), was on approach to Medellin's runway 01 when the crew initiated a go around due to a hydraulic failure. The aircraft climbed back to 12,000 feet and positioned for another approach to runway 01 for a safe landing with open gear doors about 16 minutes later. The aircraft stopped on the runway and was towed to the apron.

The aircraft remained on the ground about 18 hours before returning to service.
