An Air France Boeing 777-300, registration F-GSQH performing flight AF-90 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Miami,FL (USA), was descending towards Miami when the crew reported the smell of smoke on board. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Miami's runway 12 and taxied to the gate with emergency services in trail.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 4 hours, then departed for the return flight.
