A Mesa Airlines Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of United, registration N86312 performing flight UA-6339 from Salt Lake City,UT to Houston Intercontinental,TX (USA), was enroute at FL310 about 100nm west of Colorado Springs,CO (USA) when the crew reported they had lost both bleed air systems and initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The crew decided to divert to Colorado Springs, requested to climb to 15,000 feet due to minimum safe altitude requirements and landed safely on Colorado Springs' runway 35R about 45 minutes after leaving FL310.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 16 hours, then departed again as flight UA-6339 to Houston.
