A Ryanair Sun Boeing 737-800, registration SP-RSB performing flight FR-6869 from Cologne (Germany) to Katowice (Poland), had landed on Katowice's runway 27 and slowed to taxi speed at 23:57L (22:57Z). While approach the last turn off the runway the aircraft departed paved surface and became disabled. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained minor if any damage.

The runway was closed for about 5 hours until the aircraft could be towed off the runway as result.
