An EAT European Air Transport Leipzig Airbus A300-600 freighter, registration D-AEAE performing flight D0-82 from Lagos (Nigeria) to Brussels (Belgium), departed Lagos' runway 18R, climbed to initial flight level 290 and continued to Brussels where the aircraft landed on runway 25L about 6 hours after departure. A number of tyres were found burst, the aircraft sustained substantial damage.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Brussels until Aug 28th 2021 before returning to service.

On Sep 9th 2021 Germany's BFU reported the Nigerian Authorities delegated the investigation to the BFU. The occurrence was rated an accident and is being investigated by the BFU.
