An Air Canada Boeing 767-300, registration C-FCAG performing flight AC-63 from Vancouver,BC (Canada) to Seoul (South Korea), was enroute at FL300 about 360nm northwest of Vancouver over the Hecate Strait when the crew decided to return to Vancouver due to a generator failure. The aircraft landed safely back in Vancouver about 110 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported the crew did not request assistance, emergency services were called out for the landing however.
