The airport was closed for about 3 hours until the aircraft was towed clear of the runway. Regina's second runway was not available due to being iced up.
First information supplied to Canada's TSB suggests that the aircraft landed off the center line, the crew subsequently lost control. The runway was bare and dry.
On Nov 26th 2012 the Canadian TSB reported that the aircraft touched down right of the runway center line and veered further to the right, the right main gear went through some frozen snow and ice at the right edge of the runway, the aircraft subsequently struck a snow bank and came to a stop approximately 50 feet off the runway edge. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained minor damage. At the time of the landing the winds were calm.
