The aircraft also performed the return flight S7-5040 on schedule and landed in Novosibirsk without further incident about 2.5 hours after departure.
Rosaviatsia reported decoding of the QAR data revealed the aircraft touched down in Perm with a vertical acceleration of +2.48G, which exceeded permitted limits. The aircraft was removed from service for checks and repairs. Following the works the aircraft was permitted to return to service.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Novosibirsk for about 18.5 hours before returning to service.
