A Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300, registration A7-BAP performing flight QR-3273 from Doha (Qatar) to Tunis (Tunisia), was landing on Tunis' runway 29 when the crew observed a bird hitting the aircraft. The aircraft completed the landing and roll out, the crew subsequently advised tower. The carcass of a sea gull was recovered from the runway.

The aircraft remained on the ground for 28 hours before the aircraft departed for the planned repatriation flight QR-3274 with 243 passengers.
