A LAN Colombia Boeing 737-700, registration EI-EEB performing flight LA-3098 from Bogota to Cartagena (Colombia) with 113 passengers, was descending towards Cartagena when the crew reported hydraulic problems requiring the aircraft to be towed off the runway. The aircraft continued to Cartagena for a safe landing and stopped on the runway. The aircraft was towed to the apron about 15 minutes later.

The airline confirmed mechanical problems of the flight, the return flight LA-3099 was done by another aircraft.
