A Skywest Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of United, registration N912SW performing flight UA-5805 from Denver,CO to Santa Rosa,CA (USA), was climbing out of Denver's runway 25 when the crew reported a landing gear issue and stopped the climb at 10,000 feet. The aircraft returned to Denver for a safe landing on runway 35R about 20 minutes after departure.

A replacement CRJ-200 registration N929EV reached Santa Rosa with a delay of 2.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service after about 5:45 hours on the ground.
