A Horizon Air Embraer ERJ-175, registration N642QX performing flight AS-2485 from Salt Lake City,UT to Portland,OR (USA), landed on Portland's runway 10R but received a bird strike.

The FAA reported flight QXR2485 (AS-2485), a de Havilland Dash 8, received a bird strike at Portland causing unknown damage.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 16 hours before returning to service.
