An Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet 100-95, registration RA-89116 performing flight SU-1165 from Rostov to Moscow Sheremetyevo (Russia) with 79 passengers and 5 crew, was on approach to Moscow when the crew reported a problem with the flaps. The aircraft entered a hold while the crew worked the related checklists and continued for a safe landing at normal speed on Sheremetyevo's runway 06R.

Moscow's Transport Prosecution Office opened an audit into the emergency landing stating that a sensor malfunctioned.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 15.5 hours after landing.
