A Kulula Boeing 737-400, registration ZS-OAP performing flight MN-618 from Durban to Johannesburg (South Africa), was on approach to Johannesburg when the crew reported an engine (CFM56) had failed, they attempted to relight the engine without success. Due to weather conditions (low cloud) at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport the crew decided to divert to Lanseria Airport where the aircraft landed safely on runway 06L about 30 minutes after aborting the approach to OR Tambo.
