A Lufthansa Airbus A320-200N, registration D-AINQ performing flight LH-828 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Copenhagen (Denmark), landed on Copenhagen's runway 22L but received a bird strike. The aircraft taxied to the apron.

A passenger booked onto the return flight LH-829 reported the captain announced the aircraft received a bird strike on the inbound flight. The captain thought the aircraft was okay to fly, however, they could not find anybody to sign the aircraft off for flight. The flight ultimately needed to be cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Copenhagen about 9.5 hours after landing.
