A GOL Linhas Aereas Boeing 737-700, registration PR-GIF performing flight G3-1246 from Sao Paulo Congonhas,SP to Porto Alegre,RS (Brazil) with 119 passengers, landed at Porto Alegre at 18:45L (21:45Z) but suffered a hydraulic leak upon touchdown. The aircraft stopped safely.

The airport needed to close for 82 minutes however until the runway was cleaned following the spill of hydraulic fluid.

The airline confirmed the aircraft needed unscheduled maintenance due to a hydraulic leak, which closed the airport between 18:45 and 20:07L.
