A KLM Boeing 737-800, registration PH-BCK performing flight KL-1656 from Venice (Italy) to Amsterdam (Netherlands) with 163 people on board, was climbing out of Venice when the crew stopped the climb at FL190 reporting they had light vibrations on the elevator tabs. The crew consulted with dispatch and maintenance and subsequently decided to divert to Munich (Germany) where the aircraft landed safely on runway 08R about 45 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration PH-BCG reached Amsterdam with a delay of about 5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft positioned to Amsterdam in the late evening of Jun 2nd 2019 and resumed service the following morning.
