A China Eastern Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration B-5926 performing flight MU-771 from Shanghai Pudong (China) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), landed on Amsterdam's runway 18R. During the roll out the crew advised tower they needed to stop on the runway due to the loss of brakes due to a hydraulic leak. The aircraft stopped on the runway, emergency services responded. Emergency services requested the engines to be reduced to idle, the crew shut the engines down. Emergency services reported they did not see any leaks from the aircraft, a runway inspection also did not reveal any contamination of the runway. The aircraft was finally towed to the apron.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Amsterdam about 17 hours after landing.

According to information The Aviation Herald received there was a warning message of a green hydraulik leak associated with a warning of low pressure on engine 1 hydraulic pumps on short final, after touchdown the Brakes and Steering Control Unit (BSCU) issued a failure message.
