An Air Canada Airbus A320-200, registration C-FDQQ performing flight AC-109 from Toronto,ON to Vancouver,BC (Canada), had already departed Toronto when ground personnel notified the crew hydraulic fluid had been found at the stand. The crew confirmed they had some reduction of hydraulic quantity on the yellow hydraulic system, worked the relevant checklists and turned the yellow hydraulic system, declared PAN as a precaution on approach to Vancouver, reactivated the hydraulic system a short time prior to landing and performed a safe landing on Vancouver's runway 26R.

NAV Canada reported the runway was closed for 6 minutes to facilitate a runway inspection.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance subsequently found a hydraulic leak at the hydraulic brake actuator.
