A Polar Air Boeing 747-400 on behalf of DHL, registration N454PA performing flight freight PO-963 from Leipzig (Germany) to Seoul (South Korea), was climbing out of Leipzig when the crew stopped the climb at FL170 reporting an indication for the equipment cooling. The crew decided to return to Leipzig, dumped fuel and landed safely back in Leipzig about 90 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 2 hours, then departed again and reached Seoul with a delay of about 3.5 hours.
