A ground observer reported a large number of emergency vehicles were awaiting the aircraft. The aircraft landed at high speed, vacated the runway and stopped shutting the engines down, emergency services checked the hot brakes. The aircraft waited for the brakes to cool down, about 30 minutes after stopping the aircraft the crew restarted the engines and taxied the aircraft to the apron.
The return flight the following morning was cancelled.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 16 hours, then positioned to Warsaw but has not yet returned to service about 24 ours after landing in Dusseldorf.
