A Moskovia Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration VQ-BDI performing flight 3R-707 from Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) to Fergana (Uzbekistan), was climbing through FL280 out of Moscow when the crew initated a rapid descent to FL080 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The crew decided to return to Domodedovo Airport, burned off fuel and landed safely back at Domodedovo Airport about 3 hours after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration VQ-BER reached Fergana with a delay of 9 hours.

The incident aircraft was able to resume service after about 9 hours on the ground.
