A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration G-OOBB positioned to Vaasa the following day and reached Sal with a total delay of 34 hours.
Passengers reported the right hand engine emitted 4 or 5 bangs and streaks of flame.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Vaasa until Mar 10th 2018 before departing Vaasa after the right hand engine was replaced.
