A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EMR performing flight FR-6218 from Dusseldorf Niederrhein (Germany) to Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain), was on approach to Palma Mallorca when the aircraft encountered severe turbulence causing injuries to two cabin crew and a passenger. The crew requested medical assistance available upon arrival and continued for a safe landing on Palma's runway 24L. The three injured were treated at the airport, the ambulances that had been called in were cancelled.

The airline confirmed the aircraft suffered severe turbulence on approach to Palma, two cabin crew and a passenger received minor injuries in the encounter and were treated a Palma Mallorca's Airport.

AENA, Spain's airport operator, reported the three injured received bruises and didn't need to be taken to hospitals, ambulances called in after the crew requested medical assistance were therefore cancelled.
