A Swiss Global Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration HB-IXO performing flight LX-465 from London City,EN (UK) to Zurich (Switzerland) with 94 people on board, was in the initial climb out of London City Airport's runway 09 when the crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet due to an engine (LF507) problem and diverted to London Stansted,EN (UK) for a safe landing on runway 04 about 9 minutes later.

A passenger reported the crew announced they had received a fire indication for one of the engines.

The airline reported the crew diverted to Stansted due to an engine anomaly.

On Nov 12th 2017 the NTSB advised they had been notified of an incident involving an Avro 146-100 in London by the British AAIB and joined the investigation representing the state of design and manufacture of the engine.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 4 days, then returned to service.
