A Royal Air Maroc Boeing 767-300, registration CN-ROW performing flight AT-209 (sched. dep Oct 2nd, act. dep Oct 3rd) from Montreal,QC (Canada) to Casablanca (Morocco), was climbing out of Montreal when the crew stopped the climb at FL200 and decided to return to Montreal reporting a technical problem. The aircraft dumped fuel and landed safely back in Montreal about 55 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported on Nov 8th 2017, that a post event check with the operator revealed the crew had returned to Montreal due to a clogged fuel filter indication for the right hand engine (CF6). The fuel filter and the differential pressure sensor were replaced.

Media in Morocco produced head lines "Air Disaster narrowly avoided" reporting passengers feared for their lives when the aircraft returned to Montreal without any explanation yet without any noticeable anomaly.
