A ground observer reported the aircraft landed with an engine shut down.

A passenger reported the aircraft was enroute about one hour into the flight when without warning there was loud noise and flashes from the left hand wing, the aircraft rolled violently to the left. About 10 seconds later the aircraft became stable again, the crew shortly afterwards announced there had been turbulence and they were diverting to Hermosillo. After landing in Hermosillo it emerged that there had been sort of an engine failure.
