An Egypt Air Boeing 777-300, registration SU-GDM performing flight MS-986 from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Cairo (Egypt) with 286 passengers, was climbing out of New York when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing minor injuries to 10 passengers and 2 cabin crew. 3 doctors on board provided first aid to the injured, so that it was not necessary to return to New York to treat the injured. The flight crew continued the flight to Cairo where the aircraft landed safely about 10 hours later (Sep 1st local). Medical staff at Cairo took care of the injured and transported them to a hospital for checks.
