An American Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration N270AY performing ferry flight AA-9200 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Charlotte,NC (USA) with 3 crew, was enroute at FL390 about 50nm north of Stephenville,NL (Canada) when the crew received indication of a complete loss of oil pressure and oil quantity on the right hand engine (PW4168) and shut the engine down. The aircraft diverted to Stephenville for a safe landing on runway 27 about 30 minutes later.

On Sep 1st 2015 the Canadian TSB reported that the right hand engine is being replaced.
