An Austrian Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration OE-LGB performing flight OS-970 from Graz to Vienna (Austria) with 50 passengers and 4 crew, was on approach to Vienna's runway 11 when the crew after being handed off to tower did not report on tower frequency and continued for a safe landing on the runway, contacting tower only after landing explaining that they had become distracted and forgot to tune tower frequency, assessed it was safe to land and continued, tower confirmed the continuation of the landing was safe.
