A LGW Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of Air Berlin, registration D-ABQH performing flight AB-6772 from Dusseldorf to Nuremberg (Germany), was on final approach to Nuremberg when the aircraft went around due to an unsafe gear indication. The crew worked the related checklists, declared emergency, positioned for another approach and managed a safe landing.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Nuremberg about 14 hours after landing.
