An American Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration N8001N performing flight AA-2437 from Atlanta,GA to Los Angeles,CA (USA) with 127 passengers and 5 crew, was enroute at FL360 about 70nm southeast of Memphis,TN when the crew decided to divert to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) due to a hydraulic problem. The aircraft landed safely on Dallas Ft. Worth's runway 17C about 70 minutes later.

A replacement Airbus A319-100 registration N9004F reached Los Angeles with a delay of 4 hours.

The airline confirmed an issue with the hydraulics.
