An American Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N850NN performing flight AA-2271 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to West Palm Beach,FL (USA) with 141 people on board, was descending towards West Palm Beach when the crew declared emergency reporting that a passenger had notified them of something looking like rubber hanging from the right hand wing above the right hand engine, the crew believed it was a flaps rubber seal. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on West Palm Beach's runway 10L and taxied to the apron.
