A replacement A321-200 registration VQ-BOF reached St. Petersburg with a delay of 7.5 hours.
A passenger reported the occurrence aircraft had undergone maintenance with the passengers already boarded and departed Simeferopol with a delay of nearly 3 hours. Enroute the aircraft encountered a strong bump immediately followed by pressure on the ears and the release of the oxygen masks, the aircraft settled in a steep descent. After the aircraft levelled off the captain announced they had suffered the loss of cabin pressure and had descended to safe altitude and reduced speed, they were now diverting to Moscow Domodedovo.
