Passengers reported about 2 hours into the flight the inflight entertainment system failed and the cabin lights extinguished. Cabin crew instructed them to take their seats and keep the seat belts fastened. Upon disembarking the aircraft they noticed the radome of the aircraft showed a large dent.
Another passenger reported that later they were told the aircraft received a lightning strike on departure from Mexico City.
