A UPS McDonnell Douglas MD-11, registration N283UP performing freight flight 5X-752 from Louisville,KY to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) with 2 crew, was enroute at FL380 about 90nm westsouthwest of Little Rock,AR (USA) when the crew reported fumes in the cockpit, turned around and diverted to Little Rock for a safe landing about 35 minutes later.

The occurrence aircraft positioned out of Little Rock about 29 hours after landing but has not yet resumed service 36 hours after landing.
