A Golden Myanmar Airbus A320-200, registration XY-AGS performing flight Y5-777 from Yangon to Naypyidaw (Myanmar), was on approach to Naypyidaw at about 05:00L (22:30Z Jan 29th) when a bird impacted the nose of the aircraft and left a dent in the nose cone. The crew continued for a safe landing at Naypyidaw.

Following repairs the aircraft was able to resume service about 13 hours after landing.

The airline confirmed a bird strike, nothing serious happened, the nose cone was repaired and the aircraft was back in service in the evening.
